Since the launch of ExEm® Foam in the European market in 2011, the product has been on an impressive journey, rapidly growing to over 50% market share in many of its markets, and leading to brand growth and expansion into the U.S. in 2020. Over 1 million fallopian tubes in over 50 countries have been assessed for tubal patency using ExEm® Foam, allowing for a safe, successful alternative to X-Ray HSG, laparoscopy or (Saline-Air-) HyCoSy.

ExEm® Foam ((air polymer-type A) intrauterine foam) is currently the only FDA approved contrast drug for hysterosalpingo foam sonography, also known as HyFoSy, to assess whether there may be a blockage in the fallopian tubes in women with known or suspected infertility.
